Everyone is saying that even if it stopped growing now it looks good. It seems like every day now my temples are filling and the hair line is also. The crown slowed down a bit but after some recent research i guess the majority of the growth will take off in month 5-6 and the crown is usually a month behind the hairline. The way my hair is styled now it covers the growing hairline so i am going to cut my hair really short after this weekend and i will post better pics.

I am pretty happy up to this point i just cant wait till its all out.

RE: post-op scabs

I think at this early stage it looks really good. It seems you have been nervous since day 1. Now I do understand but try to relax a bit.

You chose oner of the top doctors in all the world, you have been dilligent about taking care of your head, now relax and let the procedure unfold. I see some kids blogs and at 4 months there hairlines are completely grown in. I dont know how true that is because all the people i talk to say that they grew in months 5-6. Granted everyone is different i would just like to know everyones experience.

My friend is approaching 3 months and his head is still pretty pink and he hasnt had any growth. So in comparison to him i am very happy but in comparison to the guys out there that have blogs up with sick hairlines at 4 months i am going to be honest im a little nervous.

RE: post-op scabs

Teddy,

Your hair looks great for only being at the 13 week mark. I think you will definitely get great results. Two years ago I had 4000 FUE's done in the front. At the end of this year I will be working on my crown as well. So you will be able to look at my progress as well. As far as scabs go, just make sure you are following the post op instructions accordingly. Especially regarding the vitamin E oil. If you are doing everything correctly, the scabs will fall off on their own which will maximize your results. Good luck with everything. Keep us posted.

RE: post-op scabs

2800 hairline

and 1800 in the crown

RE: post-op scabs

thanks for the pics teddy. how many grafts did you have done up front. i really like the design of you new hairline. i'm having a procedure next month and i'm thinking about doing something similar to that.

RE: post-op scabs

No he doesnt like to go on here because he said that some people's posts about things not working out and stuff to that effect drive him crazy haha. Everyone is telling me that it looks really good. I have alot of early growth and my hairline is starting to get darker. It seems like everyday at this point hair is popping out from different areas. At this point the growth is happening on one side more than the other but i hear that is supposed to happen. My friend and I both got the procedure done within a month a part and we work in the same office so it is very interesting seeing where he is at and where i am at. I kind of wish he went first so i would have known what to expect but it is good we are both going through the same thing at the same time.

At two months the redness is almost all gone i have some bumps where the grafts were placed which is the only sign i got something done besides hairs growing out along my new hairline. My temples arent showing any growth though which i am wondering about. Based off of Dr. Armani booklet i think i am moving along really really quickly.

I really think working out, eating right, alot of water, and vitamins help with the recovery because i am a little more active and healthy than my friend and my scabs and redness were gone way quicker than his. We shall see how the result comes out i will post pics once i have a hairline. Does anyone have any feed back?

RE: post-op scabs

Hey Teddy11, how are things coming along these days??

RE: post-op scabs

Everyone grows at different rates, you really just have to wait and see. You may get some very early growth and it might taper off for several months, or you might get a lot of growth very early. There is no way to predict how everyone's body will heal. You'll just have to be patient, and believe me, THAT is the hardest part.

RE: post-op scabs

what does that mean that its a good sign?
