I'm just curious. i have been reading online and it seems many doctors say you only have 6000 grafts average to work with. Armani says you have about 8000 to work with. I'm not pointing fingers at either party, just curious on who's right and why they are right.

| I have had over 6,400 grafts from Dr Armani and still have over 3,000 grafts available for another procedure. Take a look at my donor hair after 6,400 grafts:

| With Fue you can go more on the sides and all around the ears, you cannot get grafts in those areas from strip. That may be the difference.

interesting. i was just wondering. I just worry too much about getting the 2800 grafts that armani recommended for me for my first procedure, and then down the line I won't have enough. Most of my family are NW7's and sometimes i feel like it will be impossible to cover my head, or at least at a density i like or looks "full". I'm really looking forward to seeing the recent nw6 result after the full 14 months with burberry since most of my uncles and grandfathers look similar to the old him.

I do think I'm a good example. I was a solid NW4, I have had my whole head done with 6,400 grafts. Hairline and zone 2 as well as the crown. AND I have over 3,000 more grafts if I evern need to thicken any areas as I get older!

| I am a Norwood 6-7. I have had two procedures so far, one in a European clinic with 2500 grafts (zone 1-2-3). Obviously for such a large surface the number of grafts was too small and the density really low) and the second with Alvi Armani in Toronto 5 weeks ago for 3000 grafts (zone 1-2, the aim was to redesign the hairline and add density). I am having a third procedure scheduled with Alvi Armani at the end of January for 2000 grafts (zone 3 and 4). The nr of transplanted grafts will be 7500. By looking at my experience, you can see that there is definitively more than 6000 grafts available and I am a Norwood 6 and 7. It seems that Blueberry and Ernst in this Forum are in the same situation as I. I let you add up the facts and reach your own conclusion

agreed. that guy is lucky. From viewing the pictures of pats, and this 10k guy, it seems that their hair in general is very thick. This really helps. I have very thin hair, always have. Lets hope for the best :/

Lets hope for the best :/Why so negative about it? I am sure Dr. Armani will tell you how many grafts you can have taken. Look at Burberry, he had thin hair and I think he has had 8000 grafts.

i'm not being negative at all hahah. I know that armani will still make me beautiful  Just i would think they would have to use less grafts since they have thick hair.

There is really nothing to worry about. My first procedure I had 4000 FUE's for m front hairline, and on December 9th (next week, very excited!) i'm having zones 3 and 4 done with 2,300 grafts. Dr. Armani assesed my donor area and said I will have more than enough should i need further work in the future. You will be in great hands musician.
