Alot of people have concerns about how they will look after their procedure, will people notice they had it done, when can they return to work etc....

Here are photos of how I looked immediately after my procedure with Dr. Armani, and how I looked 14 days after my surgery:

2 weeks after surgery

Hey Pats,

1st off fabulous result. Just wondering in terms of texture how does the transplanted hair feel? is it thick to run your fingers through? does it feel similar to your native hair? Also do you still take meds?

Yeah, its pretty thick, the grafted hairs were plaed in between my existing hair and I can no longer tell the difference what was there before and what has been transplanted since.

I uploaded some videos the other day you should check out, it will give you an idea. Click on the link to see  http://mystorypats205.blogspot.com/

Can you wear a hat while waiting for it heal?

Technically the grafts are secure 7-10 days after a procedure, so wearing a hat would not dislodge the grafts. But I am of the belief that the less you wear a hat after the procedure the better to help with healing.

I wore a hat 3 weeks after my first procedure and everything turned out wonderful.

what about right after the procedure, can you where a hat or do you walk the city to your hotel room with your head raw?

or if your getting your procedure in the winter can you wear a winter cap right after the procedure.  I worry about walking around with your head for everyone to see

Also i've heard your face becomes swollen days after a HT, is this only for FUSS, or does it happen with FUE? and how long before it goes away?

You are given a surgical cap to wear after the procedure to go back to your hotel and to wear the first few days after the procedure. It keeps everything protected and also hides everything.

Swelling generally starts 2 days after the procedure and is gone 5 days post op. This is the case FUSS or FUE.

what if you're flying back right after your procedure?  can you get away with wearing a hat, or do you have to go through the airport/customs with a surgical cap on your head..?

so it'll just be obvious that you've had some sort of surgery... oh well... what's another several hours of embarassment after years of insecurity, I suppose...
