| I was just wondering what vitamins, shampoo's or other supplements are you guys using after your transplant. I am currently taking Multi-vitamin, MSM, saw palmetto, Minoxidil 5% and Propecia.

| I take Proscar and Saw Palmetto to help stop my MPB. I also take a hair vitamin that contains Biotin, Zinc, Horsetail among other things. This is to keep my exisitng hairs thick and healthy. For general health I take a multi vitamin every day, fish oil and flax seed. I think it is wise for everyone who worries about their hair to take atleast a multi vitamin and a hair vitamin.

I'm using rogaine foam, MSM, laser hair therapy, and NIZORAL shampoo. Guys, I am definitely an advocate of Nizoral shampoo. This shampoo has been proven to be active in fighting hair loss. I have definitely had a positive experience with it.

I have found that MSM does nothing for me. It does accelerate hair growth somewhat, but the quality of the hair is poor, at best. As far as shampoos, Origenere is very good. I rotate with Body Shop Ginger Shampoo (Anti-Dandruff) which soothes my scalp and is inexpensive. I have also found that mega-vitamins tend to diminsh the health of my hair, for unknown reasons. I don't take supplements anymore. I have never had any luck with SP or similar herbal supplements or "hair" vitamins. I use generic 5% minoxidil which maintains.
