Hi, Guys,
I had my 4th surgery on the 2nd of June 2009 in Toronto, Armani clinic. I want to give you a little impression about the healing process during the 15 days after surgery. You can also see my hair growing hair. But not the transplanted hair, because this will start to grow after 12 weeks. The FUE method is a method with the lowest impact on the body. The day after surgery, I felt very well and I had a normal breakfast in the morning. The whole day I went though Toronto Downtown.
I think the pictures shows a good healing process. I am a non smoker and do some sport activities in the fitness studio 3 times a week and I also try to eat good foot and only sometimes a liitle junk food.

What zones did you have covered in this procedure, and what areas were done in previous procedures? Looks like you are healing well.

I was wondering the same thing Sean was wondering. Overall, the coverage that you have had thus far looks amazing! It looks like you've had plenty zones covered in this fourth procedure and that you are healing well. I would definitely be excited if I were you. What was your experience like with the crown area? I'm planning on having some of my crown area done within the next year.

| Looks like you are healing well. As others mentioned it would be great to see your progress after each of your four transplants to get an idea of your whole hair transplant journey. Cant wait to see how its all looking in 6 months time. Good Luck with it all.

| I have got 1200 grafts into the crown area ( this was the main reason for the 4th surgery)and 900 grafts into 2 small areas in zone 2, to improve the density there.

My crown area was not real bald, but a area with a lower density, where you could see the skin shining through.
The main target of the HT procedures was to get a new hairline (I was a NW 5, I guess), to cover zone 2 and to increase density in zone 3.
I could have stopped after the 3rd procedure, if I would have wanted. But as I have seen the good results, I get the wish to improve also the crown area and I started once again to Toronto. In total I have got 10000 grafts now.

| I feel fantastic. I loved my hair and it was a pain for me all over the years to see my hair thinning. Never thought that this would be possible. Many years I prayed day by day that the balding of my head should stop. But it took 20 years, I have to stand the pain of seeing my hair fade away. In 2004 my prayer was heard and I found the courage to fight against the hairloss and later on I found the right surgeon to make the dream come true.

| Thanks for the before pic! It seems that you were a Norwood 6. If this is the case, it means that they were able to harvest about 10722 grafts from a Norwood 6! This is great news (I am a Norwood 6 as well). Please keep us posted with new pics as time goes by. I am really very interested in seeing the final results. Are you from Europe? If so can you tell me how you dealt with the trip back from Toronto? I will have a 10 hours trip back to Europe after my procedure in Toronto and I am a bit concerned about this. Thanks!

| I am from germany. I flew 4 times from munich to Toronto and back. Normally you stay for 5 or 6 days after the procedure in Toronto. After this days of recreation and walking around through Toronto downtown you are so fit, that there is no problem for a long flight. But what I can recommend: Wear a light cap, because of the cold wind of the aircondition in the plane. Wear also a light scarf, because after the procedure you have no warming hair and you will freeze your neck. Then during the flight, stand up every hour and go to the toilet, to put vitamin E oil onto the transplanted grafts.

Danke;-)
So we must apply Vitamin E every hour when traveling back to Europe.
What about the Vitamin E bottle and security restrictions that prevents passengers from taking any liquid onboard an airplane? Did they allow you to bring a bottle of Vitamin E onto the cabin? Did you need a letter from the clinic?
