Yeah - it doesn't hurt or anything but it is damn noticeable with my hair cut short or buzzed.

| Hey Pats Have you ever thought about having Dr. Armani putting FUE into your scar to make it much less noticeable?

| Hi Hal, Having Dr. Armani put FUE grafts in to my scar might be an option for me some day, but for now I am saving all the grafts I have in my donor area for the top of my head

hairwhereiwantit (7/26/2009) I'm really thankful fue came along, as Im to much of a pussy to get my head slashed open like that. Kudos to anyone who had the guts to do it. But why would you these days? When I elected to have my first procedure Fue was a lot more expensive then strip, so I chose strip because of price. Now the price of Fue has come down to where the price is almost the same between Strip and FUE. That being the case I would choose FUE and not have my scar everytime.

did you have any stretching? I had it done as well and experienced amazing results in the transplant area. Its just this one little section that sometimes still gets tender. I think its because the scar stretched open slightly. Any thoughts??

I think its because the car stretched open slightly. Any thoughts??My scar did not do any stretching thankfully. I was very careful with it, stayed out of the gym for 4 months after my procedure

| This is a normal scar of what you expect out a strip procedure. I've seen horrible ones seems like they were butchered.LOL Dr. Armani did a great job

| I can say the same. As I decided for my first surgery, I took strip because of the price. In 2004 the price for FUE was 3 or 4 times higher than FUSS. And a second advantage of strip was, that is is not necessary to shave the complete hair.

Pats, I think your strip scar result is as good as it gets. I had my strip just before your, and I am thankful that Dr. Armani did a great job with it. I truly believe FUE is the way to go now. Strip just seems so barbaric to me, I would only consider FUE with Dr. Armani now.
It's been three years since I had my HT and I still "GOT MY SWAGGER"

| That scar actually isn't bad at all, however I think FUE is still the way to go in my opinion. No scar is better than a good scar...lol. Pats.....the scar does not look bad at all though and it looks like you have plenty of hair to cover it. Gabriel

Eric:
Your strip scar looks very similar to mine. My scar was "cleaned up" by Dr. Armani when he performed my final strip in 2003 - my previous horrific scar was compliments of Bosley. My scalp gets so tight at times that the scar actually cracks and bleeds, which is disturbing. Why anyone would opt for strip today is beyond me...

Your scar cracks and bleeds? That is horrible. Do you have photos of this or your scar that we can see?
