I hate going out and having people stare at my LIGHT BLUE surgical cap... Why can't they make a black colored cap? I tried looking online to find anything other than light blue but was unsuccessful...

Does anybody know where to get them?

Those first couple of weeks just forget about what people think. Screw them all! In 6-7 months you'll be loving your hair.

The first couple weeks wearing that thing or a hat can stink, but you'll be by it soon enough and soon people will be complimenting your growth at 3 months like Teddy11.

I agree with Wally.  I know its hard, but try not to worry about what people around you may be thinking.  The couple of weeks inconvenience will be more than worthwhile with your new head of hair.  You could buy a chefs outfit and hat if you want to be really creative.)

gb1, I pretty much hid out at home for the first month. I get the summer off so I was able to do that.

I really like your idea of a black hat rather than a blue one. That would be a good suggestion to pass along to the clinic.

It's been three years since I had my HT and I still "GOT MY SWAGGER"

i'm almost three weeks out from my surgery and i haven't wore that dumb blue cap since the flight home.  i think you draw more attention to your self with the cap on then without one. i was planning on wearing it when i went back to work but decided not to, it looks so dumb it's not like a dr's surgical cap that fits tight to your head, i would have worn that but you can't because you can't have anything touch your grafts, the one from dr armani sticks up off your head like a pope's hat.
