i just wanted to get an idea of how long it takes for your donor area to get back to normal after fue surgery. I'm almost three weeks out and you can still tell i've had something done back there. any info for past experiences would be great.

Cotton,
First and foremost congratulations on your procedure! You definitely were in great hands man. I had my procedure close to two years ago, and I can tell you that it's going to take about two months for the donor area to get back to par. However, I believe you can speed up the process by using the Fucidin cream. It definitely helped me a great deal. In essence, follow Dr. A's instructions meticulously and you should come out looking like a champion. Good luck and good growing my friend.

Cotton, Congrats on your procedure!!! Honestly, by about 12 to 14 days my donor was virtually undetectable. I remember that by about 20 days, I didn't even worry about it anymore and my friends were shocked that they couldn't see anything. Best of luck on your growth, hang in there..

Give it some time cotton, you are just out from your procedure. The donor does heal quickly but on the safe side give it about 4-6 weeks.

Cotton you are so fortunate that you had FUE, the healing and down time is so much shorter.
It's been three years since I had my HT and I still "GOT MY SWAGGER"
