I am past 30 days now and I am seeing growth from grafts that never shed, specially in my temples. I have hairs there that are longer than a CM and they were not native hairs.
How common is it for a good number of grafts to never shed and start growing right away?
I have also developed a few small pimples all over the recipient area. By what I have read this is a sign of growth.

Congrats Dali, it is common for about 15% of the grafts to not shed and grow right out with your normal hair. And yes, pimples are a sign that new hairs are breaking thru the skin.

Dali, Congrats on your procedure and early growth!! Everyone grows different it seems, so you can never tell.
Do you use rogaine? I've read new studies that the earlier you begin using rogaine after your procedure, the more grafts will not shed and continue to grow.

yeah i started using it one week after the procedure.
I am using once a day now as I am worried about the side effects and also I don't want my grafts/existing hair to become dependent on it.

| Congrats man !!!! Be sure to keep updating us as you go though your life changing transformation (wow that sounded kina late night tv infomercial cheesy lol) Dont worry about the pimples, i got them also but DONT BREAK THEM! let them be. As Pats said the hair will eventually pierce through it and the pimple will heal itself. Cheers MoM

Congrats man!!! My first month is coming up on the 7th of January, and I'm hoping to experience the same things that you have. Good luck with everything and I hope you get great results, as I'm sure you will.

Dali, Hope things are still growing in well for you... You should be near the end of the "ugly duckling" phase as it is so kindly called.. lol.. How are things growing now?
