Trichotillomania

Trichotillomania is common disorder which means hair-pulling. This was first described in ancient times by the Greeks. Today this is commonly found in children, teens and more commonly in females.

The hair loss caused by this condition can be permanent in some cases. They can be presented to hair transplant surgeons as cases of unexplained hair loss with patchy, irregular patterns of hair loss.
